Wertschaetzung
In letzter Zeit habe ich oefter Momente, in denen ich das Leben so richtig wuerdige. Hier im Urlaub ist das natuerlich auch einfach: Ich bin gesund, ich habe Freizeit, ich verbringe Zeit mit den 3 aktuellen Generationen meiner Familie, ich werde geliebt, ich hab mehr als genug zu essen. Ich schwamm vor ein paar Tagen also bei schoenstem Sonnenschein im Mittelmeer herum und dachte mir "sowas Schoenes, hierfuer hat es sich schon gelohnt, auf der Welt zu sein". Abends setzte Gott dann noch einen drauf - einen blutroten Mondaufgang ueber dem Meer.
So funktioniert das also, je mehr man die Welt mag, desto wunderbarer wird sie.

Appreciation
Lately I have more moments of Life Appreciation. Of course it´s easily done, being appreciative, during a holiday: I am healthy, I have time off, I am spending time with the 3 current generations of my family, I am loved, I´ve got more than enough to eat. So a couple of days ago I am swimming in the Mediterranian Sea, the sun is shining, and I think to myself (... what a wonderful world *gg*) "This is worth being alive for". In the evening God upped the ante with a bloodred moonrise.
So that is how that works - the more you like the world, the more wunderful it becomes.
